Heavenly Father

Heavenly Father, I thank You for another day and for loving me! Thank You for Your Word which is life everlasting and healing my soul. I choose to set my heart and thoughts on You knowing that You are empowering me to overcome all obstacles and stumbling blocks in my life. I thank You for all that You have done, is doing, and shall do in my life, in Jesus name, Amen!

Love:

Love: LOVE is not an emotion or a mushy feeling. LOVE is action. God not only wants us to walk in LOVE, but He wants us to be LOVE. It is LOVE that surpasses human understanding and causes a person to be filled with the fullness of God. What makes LOVE so important is that it makes us different from those who choose not to LOVE. Some of us find it hard to LOVE because of pass hurts or disappointments, but Love is the key that will unlock greatness such freedom from bondage, joy, peace, and happiness. Through Jesus Christ, we can do all things including LOVE our neighbors and ourselves. For LOVE is GOD and GOD is LOVE. "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." St. John 13:34 (KJV)

Today:

Today is a new day and yesterday has pass, the sun rose this morning dawning a new day and a new beginning. So whatever happened yesterday is in the pass, focus on this new day and correct whatever mistakes you made. Apologize for the hurtful things you said, visit those whom you have not seen in a while, pray for those whom you know need it, be a friend to those who are in need of friend, and show love to those who need to feel love.

President Obama Speaking Frank Words at Morehouse College

President Obama had some frank words in his commencement address to the 'Morehouse men' in the Class of 2013 this weekend. "We know that too many young men in our community continue to make bad choices. Growing up, I made quite a few myself. Sometimes I wrote off my own failings as just another example of the world trying to keep a black man down. I had a tendency sometimes to make excuses for me not doing the right thing. But one of the things that all of you have learned over the last four years, is there's no longer any room for excuses."

If they cared

If someone you truly care about walks out of your life at a time when you need them the most, let them go and wish them God’s speed, but do not run behind them begging them to stay. If they cared or felt anything for you they would stay. Take comfort that when they walked out, Jesus walked in and He will never abandon nor leave you when you need someone the most.

Dear God

Dear God, thank You for all that You do. For You know the things we need of before we ask. I pray that You will guide our footsteps and continue to bless our families, our friends, our finances, our home, our social lives, our commitments, our spiritual life, our present and our future. We pray that You will heal Your people who are suffering all over this world and bless the poor and needy that they might have enough, be with the outcast, the forgotten, the broken hearted, the depressed, the lonely, and especially the hungry in the world. Bless Your people Oh Lord, we pray, In Jesus name, Amen.
